For as long as I can remember, mashed potatoes are one recipe that my Mum loves to make and she feeds our little cousin that ever since she first tasted it when she dipped her hands into the bowl of my mashed potato and fell in love with it. My Mum makes this using the baked potatoes in microwave method which works out pretty well. You can easily make this in less than twenty-five minutes for your baby. Although there may be a slight difference in the ingredients since it is for a baby of six months to two years. All you need to do is get your potatoes, wash it very well with a brush or your hands. Ensure that there are no particles, get your salt and any other ingredient you prefer, you can also decide to add little milk for your baby but this should be while mashing up the potatoes.
You do not need to add pepper to this recipe. All you need do is place two or three potatoes into your microwave bowl and cover. Microwave at high power for eight minutes, make sure to drill holes on the sides of the potato before microwaving. Bring your potato down to check if it is well baked. If not, return it back to the microwave for an additional two minutes and bring it out, remove the outer skin and mash your potatoes using a fork or whisk. After this, you can add your milk to it and whisk it together. The baked potatoes in microwave recipe are just perfect for a baby of six months. You can add little pepper if the baby is a year old or more but avoid putting pepper if the baby is just six months old.
