Vivo has launched too many new models over the past few months in India. Looks like the company wants to make a record. Just now, Vivo has launched its new phone i.e. Vivo V17 Pro. While the Vivo V17 Pro is in the lead when it comes to the number of camera sensors it packs in, is it good enough on other fronts as well? Let’s take a look if it provides some good specifications, in just around Rs 30000?
.Vivo V17 Pro design:
Midnight ocean trim is available for Vivo V17 Pro, it is relatively slimmer than other smartphones and has no notch. The polycarbonate body is durable, and the laminated back didn’t seem to have too many grazes during the review period. It does entice a lot of fingerprints though.
- Super AMOLED display, a 6.44-inch screen
- Corning Gorilla Glass 6 for protection with the support of HD+ resolution
- The diffusion of the colors on the display provides a good look at the phone.
- It provides good brightness range for outdoor use under sunlight
- Edges of the back are curved slightly
- They have also managed to make some space for a headphone jack on the top this time
The overall design of the Vivo V17 Pro is just awesome, and the phone is like the best one can expect. With the phone, you get an 18-W fast charger, a USB Type-C cable, a plastic case, and a SIM eject tool.
Vivo V17 Pro specifications and features:
This phone uses the now slightly out-dated Snapdragon 675 SoC, it offers a better octa-core chip. Only, one configuration is provided i.e. it provides 128 GB of internal storage (looks good) with 8 GB RAM, which enhances the performance.
- Funtouch OS 9.1 is used in V17 Pro
- Heavy customizations in single layer interface
- It comes with Ultra Game Mode which blocks notifications, Motorbike Mode which will automatically reject the calls
They have covered all the points in this new model.
Vivo V17 Pro performance and battery life:
It is possible that Funtouch and OS may not be your favorite, but it served a smooth service on Vivo V17 Pro.
- The earpiece on the Vivo V17 Pro is in the pop-up selfie camera place
- Heavy games like PUBG Mobile will run smoothly on this phone supporting HD display
- The Vivo V17 Pro has a 4100mAh battery, with heavy usage it still managed to work for a day
- Fast charging is supported, from 0 to 36, it takes an only half-hour, it is not the fastest but that is not that bad
Vivo V17 Pro cameras
It has a 32-megapixel primary camera, f/2.0 aperture along with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera.
- There’s a 48-megapixel primary sensor
- 13-megapixel 2x optical zoom camera
- 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera
- Low-light stills were not that good but were above average
The ultra-wide camera is not much useful in dim light, but night mode has a good impact on the user’s choice, making the pictures more dramatic. As always, Vivo had provided the best camera in this range, this is why it is called the best camera phone. If you like to take selfies, Vivo V17 Pro might impress you.
This phone has good hardware, packed with all features in this range. But the software still needs some polish. They need to work on the low-light camera, but overall it provides some good selfies. As always, the phone delivers good results.
